Is this normal

My daughter was wondering is it normal for them to come to you and be held for an hour or two daily? If you open the cage he will come and force you to pick him up and play.

To my mind, that would suggest they aren't comfortable in their enclosures.

Maybe that's just because mine don't want to come out of their cages so I make up the best explanation for my situation....

Haha, its not "normal" no. Its not unheard of either.
Elizadolots comment is more probable. Over supplementation, and being "randy" can also make them restless, and not mind coming out of the cage.

Yes I should have elaborated more that's it's not normal mine has just discovered on the other side of the curtain there is warm sunshine so he knows that time of the day when the sun is shining on his spot and that's when he'll come out otherwise he has no interest in coming out

Maybe she's a lot with the cham so he got used to it and enjoys her company.

I have a jackson and he loves to climb onto my hand every time I offer to hold him.. I have his terrarium here on my room table so he sees me a lot so maybe he thinks I'm a warm tree :D
