Is This Shedding Or Something Else?

Kush shed a layer of skin a few days ago. He doesn't have any skin hanging off of him anymore, but he has something on his nose. It looks like dead skin from when he shed, but everything else is gone except that piece, and it's been there for several days, so I thought i'd ask.

The picture is blurrish, so I can't tell you but it can be some kind of bacterial infection. The skin should be gone already. In case it's still his skin it can be a sign of wrong care.

I'd try a bit of misting in this area, which you're probably already doing. It could be a little residue eliminated by the nose. It doesn't look like anything to be too concerned about. Just watch it for the next few days. Sometimes a little build-up occurs naturally. Moisture will help.

Misting helps with stubborn skin. You can use a Q-tip to massage the skin off if you like... just don't force it. I wouldn't worry about it tooo much as long as it isn't cutting off circulation...like if the tip of the tail wasn't shedding I would do my best to get it off so the tip doesn't die off.

I tried gently rubbing it with a q-tip. It looks like some of it came off. It became transparent while wet, so i'm guessing it is dead skin.

Good guess, just keep misting and you will see he is probab;y trying tp rub it off.
