Itchy Face

Hi! I have had my 2 year old panther for a few weeks now. I have noticed that he sometimes rubs his face against a branch. He has a little bit of shed going on, so this may be normal- but I thought I would check on here to be sure. I am learning a lot reading through this forum- I don't think he has mouth rot as his lips are perfect and not swollen anywhere so I don't think that is it. He looks great, he is eating and drinking. I have also noticed that he sometimes uses his legs to itch himself, but I think he is trying to pull off his shed. Is this a normal thing?

I am hoping that itching is normal and not a sign that he may have parasites or something bad going on.

Thank you :)

My veiled rubs her feet and face against branches when she sheds too and she is perfectly healthy.... I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure that is normal. But, if he keeps it up after he is completely done shedding then I'd look further into it with a vet.
I hope I could help!
