It's a dirty job, but all cham owners have to do it....

I have just spent an hour and a half cleaning out and feeding my feeder insects.

I do this twice a week, once on a Tuesday and once on a Friday.

I have 5 tanks, as my chams are very different in ages, so my insects are sorted according to size, locust and crickets.

its just taken me an hour and a half to take them out, clean each tank and put them back in with fresh food.... but I love to see their reaction when I do... they just start to devour, greedy beggars!!!!

They aren't legal due to being an agricultural pest. The best I can do is catch some grasshoppers in a near by field every now and then.

I see them every one in a while around my work, but they are usually around 2 or 3 inches big.

I just spent 2 hours doing the same thing! I also spent some time sorting the mature ones for the next brood. Feel so grimy afterwards.
