It's not a mealworm!!!!

Ok guys, so I had a small container of meal worms that I bought a couple weeks ago right before my Cham died. I had been saving them for fishing. Today I opened up the container and saw like 8 of these black Beatle looking things, they are not crickets, I'm sure of that, I have no clue what they are. Just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them or knows what these are.

Mind = blown lol thanks Matt. By the way I just finished a carton of tea last night so I'm going to make one of those feeders we talked about. Just have to do mid terms first

Lol no problem. I wouldn’t have known this a few days ago but good lord i’ve Been studying everything chameleon and anything to do with them for the past few days like i’m studying for a midterm too haha

I’m already coming up with a more clever, better system then the feeding jug that will be less bulky and more camoflauged. And I think it will make for a better feeder considering my Cham likes to eat his meals off of the enclosure instead of out of a cup ;) gonna call if the feeder highway lol

Just a bit of info for you about mealworms... You should not feed them!! They are worth nothing nutritionally, and cause impactions! If you where feeding those to your cham, he may have died from an impaction! Other than not pooping it is hard to tell if a cham is impacted unless you know your cham very well! You should use superworms instead, but sparingly.
