Ive got 2 Oustalet chameleons....

Hiya Ive got a male/female pair of Oustalet chameleons and im wondering what would be the recommended size viv I get built for them for when they become adults????? I will be keeping them seperate so I just need to know what the recommended size viv for 1 adult Oustalet chameleon should be???


If someone could please help me I would be extremely grateful!!!!

A 2'x2'x4' min. for the males. A 18"x18"x3' for the females....During the warmer months here I keep mine together in an outside cage thats 8'x8'x10' "Corners limited" hex pen.

I have used 24"x24"x36" for females and 24"x24"x48" for males.
Mine are always looking for food, and start aiming their tongues at me when I enter the room.

I was thinking of getting two 6ft high by 3 ft long by 2 ft wide ones???? Will that be big enougth for them for when they get to thier largest size?

More than enough room!!! You could even stuff an unwanted house guest in there!!!

Dont they grow to 2 foot usually then in captivity????

Mine might be that big to out-stretched tail.
