Finally finished jabbas palace complete with homemade auto mister, humidifier, live and fake plants and a faux rock wall with driftwood from the shores of Lake Michigan. It stands floor to the top of the light rail at 80". The actual screen part of the cage is 42 " tall and 28"x28". It sits on a base cabinet of 30" with a laundry sink for drainage and the base holds the sprinkler timer and humidifier and a bucket to catch the water. All in all I think he likes it. He has a nice basking spot and has slept in the same spot since I put him in it.

A lot of fun to build....its amazing how fast things add up in a project. I had no plans and based everything around the sink. I build a lot of furniture for work so I am use to making it up as I go.

I love it just a precatioun when using a deep sink like that, please make sure you have some screen or mesh covering the drain so it can't clog! chams can drown in just inches of water, but it looks great and I'd be proud to display that as my own great job!..... but i hope you would consider putting some vines on the side of the sink in case your cham takes a leap of faith and gets stuck!

Yes the drain is screened off and there is a few vines that go down to the bottom. Its so hard to get everything to show up in the pic. This is my second cage...the first for my late Rudis...Sully...so I had some good ideas but had to scale WAY up for Jabba. He is huge......I cant believe how big he has gotton.

Thanks for the compliments....and if you need any help or have questions about any construction or design.....just send me a PM
