I bought my Jackson like about 2 months ago from petsmart since then he's been fine eating good mealworms/crickets all dusted every meal time and like lately he has been staring me down when I'm laying I'm my bed chilling ... Like legit both eyes locked on me like I'm food .. Why is this ? Thank you

I guess its normal behavior, i asked the same question a couple of days ago on here.. I wake up sometimes to my veiled just starring at me.. My conclusion is that hes plotting ur death!! Bahahaha

Wow I've never heard of them looking like that. My Jackson Chameleon will stare at my, but just with one eye. Never with both. That is peculiar. I doubt it is anything bad, if anything kind of cool. Perhaps someone else would have something else to say though.

Well..... Is it at night? Or during the day?

Also, Jackson's shouldn't be given supplements everyday. They are more sensitive to them then say, a panther or veiled.

Chams are attracted to movement, and will watch any animal around them very carefully to determine if they are potential predators.

All my chams stare at me when I walk into their room, but they recognize me, and stop.
If a stranger comes in, they will hide under foliage cover and just stare at them because they don't know if they pose a danger or not.

Don't supplement your jax every feeding.

I give mine plain calcium w/o D3 every other feeding (very lightly dusted), calcium with D3, and a multivitamin once a month.

It's also a very good idea to get him out in real sunshine as much as possible.
Do not put him in direct hot sun, make sure there is shade for him to go.
