Jacksons and Repashy Calcium Plus

Has anyone used this with Jacksons? I am aware that they are sensitive to over supplementation so wondered how often Jackson owners use this.

Tiff you know I am on the careful side of things. For my montanes I use plain calcium 2x a week and repshay 1x a week. It seems to be working well. But mine are melleri and quads, not jacksons. I knew you knew that but someone might not know it.:)

I guess then I could just use Calcium Plus instead of his Reptivite. At then moment he is on calcium 1x per week, Reptivite w/o D3 1x per week and Reptivite WITH D3 every 6 weeks. So could I just use the Repashy once a week and not need to use either of the Reptivites any more?

Yes, with epic failure ;/
I was using it everyday/almost everyday for a while, and that lead to severe oversupplementation issues. I have since switched back to Rep-Cal, as thats what worked well for me, for so long.

Here is a quote from Xanthoman on the matter, taken completely out of context, and "cleaned up".

"Repashy calcium plus an all in one supp containing vitaminD3 and PROformed vitamin A at a ratio of d3/preformed vitamin a at 1;10 which is a good balance in the right qty. IMO calcium plus should be given at the rate of about a matchead once a week-10 days."

Thanks for al the replies. Solid Snake - I wasn't intended on supplementing Monty's food every day as I know they can easily be over supplemented. Once a week sounds good to me. I am going to buy some for Amy anyhow and may try it with Monty too. Has anyone felt that the chameleons are more willing to eat food dusted with Calcium Plus? Dose it perhaps taste better to them than plain calcium?

I was just sharing my experience ;)

IMO, they seem to find it tastier yes.:)

all experiences are useful to others, especially the ones where we have learnt do's and don'ts. I know that it may well be suitable for daily use in Panthers and Veileds, but I wouldn't be happy using anything on a daily basis for a Jackson. That's cool if it tastes better - calcium looks like it tastes rather chalky.

I don't have experience with Jackson Chams but I don't how different a cham's tastes buds are to ours but chams seem to love the taste :D

Was feeding Sebastian today and I usually pick a pinch of the suppliment with my fingers and generally I always remember to wipe my hands after, today I didn't and forgot and touched my mouth and got a little in my mouth, for me, it had no taste :D LMAO
