H! I was wondering if Jackson chams have same care needs as the veiled. If anything is different please post thanks. I update my male panther cham that has been under so much vet care that he isn't going to make it attach a photo. He's hanging on with a bond I never thought he had to live... Ashame loved him

Going to read that link thank you for providing it. No recovery been going on for months now vet says he has a condition. He can't open eyes retain shed that I give warm baths he hates. Stools stay on his vent or rub on screen. Rejects food water meds even with given far back in mouth. It sucks sorry to say he was a good boy and a cutiepie. But faith is running short.

you're welcome.
is there anything the vet can do for him because of the condition? thats really sad, im very sorry :(

Only if I can get him to improve shallow eyes open and fluids. But he still looks this way over weeks of treatment. He also can't move or like wont crawl on floor or cage sides. I have him on screen for the lighting and pillow under him because of the mbd.

:(SO SAD!!!! :( BEEN THERE BEFORE!!!!SO HARD. When my panther Art was dying, I draped a small cotton blanket in my arms and placed him in it. i cradled him for hours a day. i tried my hardest to make his last days as comfortable as possible. he died in my arms on day 3. (I'm crying:*()

Jackson's are more fragile than Veiled and Panther chams.
Their care is very different in that they can only tolerate about 1/2 the amount of supplements (especially D3 and multivitamins), need more water and need lower temperatures.
They are typically much more shy and need more foliage to hide behind.

The caresheet that ReptileLove18 provided a link to provides good info about their care.

Very sorry that your Panther is so ill.
It's a shame that he was not able to recover from his MBD. :(

Awww I know how you feel. Overwhelming I do the same to hold him and rub his head and body gentle. Wishing I had powers to heal him. I tell your still hurting just never forget and believe me your panther is always with you heart and spirit.

Thank you I wanted a Jackson with the three horns. But heard its very tough getting baby Jackson growing and well. Even doing the right thing they can die or get ill. Even with needing more water then the panthers isn't good for me cause. I have troubles with my current cage drying out to fast and basking temp being 83 for female veiled. I found a veiled male very cute and awesome colors. Made the order just need local temps to warm up. Ma'am said my area is way to cold maybe mid next week.
Does the rain system from Zamp work great for male veiled?
