Jackson's keepers - how old is my Jackson's?

I just purchased a male Jackson's chameleon and I hope an experienced keeper can tell me about how old he is. The pet shop where I purchased him had no info about his age. His SVL is 3.5" and his total body length is about 6.75". I'm on my phone and cannot attach a picture to this message, but if you click on my user name, you can see pictures of him in my gallery. Thank you in advance.

Okay, sorry, I figured out how to attach the picture, which is below . Thank you again.

Thank you for your input! He's my first Jackson's chameleon. We are still deciding on a name, but I think we are going to go with Yoshi. I have a male veiled chameleon named Louie that's about 4 months old. They are my first chameleons, but I started research about 6 months before I got Louie.

Thank you for the help and care sheet! What kind do you keep?

Is it wild caught? If so, it's almost impossible to tell accurately.
If it is WC, be sure it gets plenty to drink. They can become dehydrated very quickly. I had never known a chameleon could drink so much until i bought a wc jacksoni.

No he is captive bred, or so I was told. I have noticed he is a very thirsty little fellow. Luckily I'm home a lot so I can mist his cage frequently. I'm trying to encourage him to drink from the spray bottle (I've seen other peoples Jackson's do that), but he's still a little wary of it. Thank you for the advice!

I also have a dripper set up for his cage, but he seems to be more scared of than anything. Whenever I turn it on he runs to the opposite side and hides, so lately I haven't been using it at all. Maybe I'll try again when he's a bit older.
