There is a girly jacksons cham for sale locally. The owner said she recently gave birth to a few dead babies, no live ones. Is this chameleon in very poor health? That just doesnt sound "healthy" to me. what could be the culprit behind this?
Does he maybe mean she dropped infertile slugs? While not overly common, they do sometimes lay infertile slugs.
The ones that "bear live" don't do it the same way mammals do. There are eggs that are held internally and then dropped when ready. Sometimes they create infertile eggs just like any other chameleon.
