Jann B Baby Owners Unite!

Take them out of the cage and put them on a plant or a small tree and they will get use to you. They are probably scared of new keepers and the new cage. I kept them out on a plant on my bar allot. Once out of thr cage they should warm up to you fast and be very friendly. I'm sure going from a bag in a box to a strange cage flipped them out. I would keep them out of the cage as much as possible.

Agreed. My 2 are absolutely the friendliest chameleons I have ever had! They do not like the cage and only use it to sleep at night. I would imagine they freaked out like Jann said, being in that box, give them some time to adjust.

Luca is Home!!! Met Jann and her Hubby is Savannah to pick him up today. Jann was holding him when I pulled up. He is huge for not quite3 months ~ 24 grams, and he even ate some crickets and supers when we got home. What a piggy!! Took a few pics, but did not want to stress him to much today. Thank you Jann from the bottom of my heart!! And a special thanks to Heather for the Red Velvet & Cream Cheese icing cupcakes~~~ Your my new best friends!!

Wow, that does NOT look like a baby chameleon!

Tiff, I love this thread. So nice to see all the babies.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone about the babies.

The largest babies went first.....Luca just started growing. The female Wasabi, that went o Juli was ALWAYS the biggest baby. She was the first to go to her new home. Maybe Juli will post a recent pic of her. Stanley was a big baby too....Lisa what did he weigh when I shipped?

Jann, Stanley weighed 24 grams according to the info you sent along with him... i actually bought a scale to keep up with his weights but i'm not sure he'd hold still long enough!!! :D

Yes I know I am late. i have taken pictures of little Pepper every day for three days! My Pepper Pie has not embraced the picture thing. Here are 3 from today, i had to get him away from his cage or anyplace he could hide or run, like my arm but here they are. he seemed to like the view out the kitchen window.

I'm sure if I said 24 grams that was right. I weighed each of them right before the bag and the box. I just put a wash cloth over the bowl on the scale and zero it out and they don't mind getting on then.

Laurie, Pepper has grown soooo much!!!! He was my first to ship you know. He looks really happy out of the cage. They all will just sit for hours looking out the window.....they love it!!!

Thanks Tiff, Pepper Pie is a little doll, but he is never still. i am not great with a moving target and he is a very moving target. He has gone from his free range bush to all over the room. He loves to hang on Arnold's cage. Arnold just looks at him so it seems to work for them.:D
