Jewel is doing GREAT!!

Jewel is about 9 months old. She eats healthy amount of veg's and meat. Her grip is good attitude is normal, good responses. Weight is good and color. Just happy all together! I am having her life time cage custom built soon!! Can I give her 1 superworm at this size and age?

Sure she can have a super every now and then. She's a pretty little lady. When you say she eats meat, do you mean insects? Are you feeding her less and keeping her cooler to help prevent egg laying?

yes mealsworms about 11 a day loves them. I would like to replace a couple of mealworms with a superworm. Than a dozen crickets a week gutloaded. Her temp. is 80 but her hum. runs 60 to 90 a day. But it doesn't seem to brother her, I fix it quickly though. She hates me misting so i use ice cubes on top the cage that make like a drip. She has special ice cubes made of her water. I will catch her under them. I love watching her go down to eat her kale too.

Mealworms aren't that good of a feeder for chameleons. Have you tried Phoenix worms? They are excellent.

Also, try silkworms. Most chams love them, and they are better for your cham then mealies
