New to the site and keeping of chameleons and thought I'd introduce myself here first. My name's Daniel and I've been interested in keeping these cool little critters for a long time now and I think I'm ready for it. I'm mostly into reefing, but also have a leopard gecko and had a pair of crested geckos for a little while. Currently I also have an O. pumilio poison dart frog.
Basically wanted to establish myself here too in hopes of purchasing a nice specimen from someone on here when the time comes. Gonna scour the forums for info, then set up the tank. Hope to get to know you on here and continue learning and enjoying these types of hobbies. Good day.

Thanks! I've taken a look at a few already and I will check out the rest as well. It's always exciting picking up a new hobby and learning about it. Especially one I've wanted to do for so long. Not really sure why I haven't yet, but everything feels right enough to try now.

I'm also new to the forums, I'm swatting up for a baby panther cham later in the year. Excellent list of info there, a few that I had missed. Thanks! Fey

Hello Daniel, welcome to the forum. It is wonderful to see people who know what they are doing before they jump in. I did not use that method, but my older sister is a pro, so I can out ok and did my chams.

You are south of St Louis? The sister I mentioned livens Springfield, MO. You have expert help close.:)

But you will find all the help you need here, just read and ask questions.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, Laurie, I'm about 50 mins from downtown in a small town of Desoto. I can't remember how far Springfield is from here, but everything's a drive from here lol. Lookin to get it going here soon. I just like to prepare myself before I jump into things. Live and learn haha. I like Jacksons just because of the horns, but I think I'm going to go with a panther for now, and if all goes well, add a jacksons later.
