Wild cought bugs aren't always a great idea because you have NO idea what they have eaten. They could have eaten something with a parasite or chemical that would be very bad for your cham. Since CA is pretty crazy about pest spraying I would imagine that your risk of chemical transmission is high. I personally wouldn't do it... If you decide to, I would gut load the heck out of the bugs before feeding. But just remember... its wild and you have no idea what it has eaten or landed on.

I think I read to keep the bug for 48 hours before feeding off giving it a chance to gutload and poop poop poop to clean out it's system. I don't think I would do that to my cham though. I don't give wild bugs just because.....

Ya know I would do a search on the forum to find other threads. I remember reading on the forum once that some of these 'june bugs' can kill a cham. I sorta remember that the person posting wasn't sure if it was actually a june bug.... But do some searching on the forum to make sure.
