ive heard that stick insects and praymantais's are good food for my cham i ava male yemen can they eat all breeds of both or are there only selected breeds they're allowed to eat?

How old is your cham? It may be to small to eat them...

Indian stick insects are the best in my opinion. (No spikes on them)
Sub adult mantids of any species. Adults may be too able to defend themselves and might hurt your chameleon.

praying mantis can be hard to gutload.
Since they are also insectivores.
So, you have to gutload a cricket or a fly, then feed it to your praying mantis, then feed the praying mantis to your cham.

Like Brad said, the adult mantis is feisty and can fight back.

well my cham is only 5 moths old so i will only be feeding him them while young i just wondered cause i was on ebay and got 100 indian stick insects eggs for £1 i've kept them before and ended up with hundereds so ill leae a good few to grow to adults and feed him the rest

that's a good idea.
Too bad, in the state i live in, there is no legal access to that species.
It's illegal to have stick insects here.

i had a stick bug squirt me in the eye with his juice, it stung pretty bad, same species? we have wild down here, i see em every once in a while, ill start catching some and see if my cham likes em, hope they are not toxic.

well ive never had or heard of stick insects "squirting their juices" at me lol so i have no idea about that 1 and i would make sure that they are good 4 your cham too eat 1st mate

some stickbugs are toxic.
