just a simple question

If not, than there shouldnt be a problem. If they are, idk chameleons might like a pleasant smell in the room lol. Lets see what someone else says.

I have burnt lightly scented candles in the room with my chams. I only do that every once in a while. I don't know if I would do it all the time as it might be irritating to them.

I dont know about candles but if you want it to smell good candle like try scentsy I think is how its spelled they are safe smell just like a candle

Haha totally! :p I bought a white noise app on my phone for waterfalls and stuff LOL. Cost me like 3 bucks but idc.

I don't use scented or aromatherapy candles or incense in the same room as my birds or chams, because they both have pretty complicated and sensitive respiratory systems. Some of the volatile oils that create the scents and the residues that help them last longer are not recommended for use around birds. Better safe than sorry.

Maybe burn the scented candle in another room instead?

I'm a candle addict. In the 5+ years of chameleon husbandry and burning scented candles (mainly from Yankee Candles), I've had not one issue. but that's just my experience. I do keep my chams near windows or outside frequently, though, so fresh air circulates better through their cage.
