Do any of you peeps have regular jobs?? Seems like everyone gets to spend all day at home pampering your lil babies! So jealous!! I only get to interact with my Maynard on the weekends, and maybe for a few minutes after work before he settles in for night night. (this is about to come to a screeching halt with the time change. he'll be asleep by the time I get home...)

actually, a lot of us have normal jobs i go to school all day, then work at a restaurant right after and most of the weekend :/

I work from home and have some flexibility so I can care for them as needed. I don't make a huge amount of money but I'm happier with this set up than I was in the daily office grind.

Fabrication shop manager here.
I leave at 5am and don't get back home till after 6...most days around 7!! Three hours a day in my vehicle as it's a long commute. The only blessing is it's only Mon.-Thurs.!!
Thank goodness for timers!! Without automatic misters and timers on the lights I wouldn't be able to enjoy these guys!!

I work from home. Im a dog groomer. I have a shop set up in my back yard. And I go in the house to check on the animals. But having the auto misters makes it nicer. My husband works out of the home and he wishes he could be home. But he has to bring home the bacon or "feeders". LOL

Y'all are cracking me up! Wish I had a automister. I mist early in the am and early evening, for about 5 min each...

Amen Goggles!...If it weren't for timers, I just couldn't have a cham. Oh, and I work 08-18 4 days a week, so have plenty of time on my 3 day weekends to attend to his needs..i.e. clean cage, take care of feeders etc. I would have more though if I could stay home more! Just have other critters too...a snake, a spider and two large lovey yellow labs....
