I haven't had one of those since I was a kid (not just the dime store variety either—we had a pond in town that had a variety of different turtles. There are still some at the local park ponds (to confound each of the dogs we've had. )Thanks!!

Thanks for sharing! I Iove all your pets (just haven’t seen Ol’ Furface) It’s lovely to see Ol’ Mitch enjoying himself. Our turtle has grown so much the past 2.5 years! She was just about 2 inches long when we got her and was super shy. Now she’s very social, and freaks out with excitement when there’s hope of a meal or a snackI haven't had one of those since I was a kid (not just the dime store variety either—we had a pond in town that had a variety of different turtles. If you haven't found them yet, here's a neverending beardie thread, and one about my Missus' baby tortoise.
Ol' Furface (Labrador service dog)
Ol' Stinkeye (Bearded dragon)
Ol' Mr. GrumpyPants (Panther chameleon)
Ol' Mitch (Baby Western Hermann's tortoise)
