Brilliant pictures- I know of the leaf stick insect but can you tell me the species of the first one- was looking at sticks for feeders- have tried the indian sticks but was looking at chunkier species for bigger dinners. Can they manage smaller
Extatosoma tiaratum or are they too much of a spiky hazard? was that a Eurycantha ? I had a load of Extatosoma recently. Any suggestions for big cham friendly sticks? Many thanks

Hey Tabitha. In the first picture, that is Extatosoma tiaratum. I think they are nice treats. I wouldn't feed them consecutively. That is purely an opinion due to the barbs and overall texture. I too am in the process of sampling larger feeders for my larger chameleons. You will be in the same boat soon too!!

Hi Joel thanks for the info, having been looking at Katydids too and hissing cockroaches, I'll end up keeping more tanks of feeders than the actual animals! I now can't look at any insect without gauging its potential as a food item! The big day is getting very close! (y)
Wonderful pictures though, thanks for sharing.
