Just got a pair of Fire-Bellied Toads

Not sure of the sex yet, haven't really had time for them to croak... or not. I have about 1/2 of it bed-a-beast, and half water with a rock "island" in the middle. The water's about 1.5" deep or so. They're in a 10 gallon. Pictures in the morning!

Does anyone have any tips or anything to share about these guys? I may get a third later on.

I love them, so easy to care for and so hardy. Make great amphibian pets. Sounds like a good setup although I hate it when the coco fiber sticks to them, ruins there color.

I actually haven't noticed any sticking to them - could be because its still so wet from when it was made though

I haven't got my guys to eat yet (might be because I'm having to feed them in a separate container because bugs are stupid and like to drown themselves), but atleast one of them is calling. Sounds awesome!

The bugs usually don't last long enough to drown in their enclosures, Fire bellieds are vicious eaters lol.
