Just harvested bsflarva... do I wash them

So I went to visit my good ole mom and raided her compost and got about 200 black soldier fly larva... do I wash them before feeding to my cham... how do yall do it

Gut load them with some fruit and vegetables-don't know what's in your mom's compost bin. If you put them in some bran they'll dry out and be clean, it's not neccessary though, I just feed them off after gut loading.

I wash them and then gut load them for a few days.
