Juvenile Veiled Female Behavior Change

Wednesday we purchased out first veiled. You guys actually helped me sex her . Everything has been really good and she's been very friendly until today. My husband removed her from the cage and she hissed and stayed dark speckled until he put her back. She hasn't did this before. Is it normal? She's two months old.

Hey! This is a weird coincidence--I just posted a thread with the exact same question a few days ago, right here. I got some good advice from others there. Apparently it's normal for chams to go through a type of "puberty," where they become more territorial, and don't tolerate handling as much.
Basically what I heard is that you just need to start over again in building her trust--work on just being around her without touching her, and maybe hand feeding every once in awhile to get her to trust you again. I'm currently working on that with my 6 month old veiled, and even after a few days he seems to have calmed down a bit!
Good luck!

Well she's two months old and we've only had her three days. Do you know about the color change like the pictures I posted?

I'm not an expert, but I do know that chams do change colors during adolescence, (2-4 months old) and begin to develop their permanent markings around that age! It looks like her colors are pretty normal in both of those pictures, so I wouldn't worry too much. :)
