Let me just say the gallery is incredible!!! ( Direct Link ), I especially liked the:
Ch.(t) cristatus
Ch.(t) hoehnelii
F. verrucosus
C.amber

and of course the
F.pardalis

there are links to all the different morphs on the right hand side so don't miss it! Ankaramy Crazy!

The enclosures are also notably different with back and side walls made of cork board, a front probably of glass and a little screening section. Halogen lamps for heat along with florescents. And these guys really look extremely healthy! I guess maybe there really is more than one way to house a chameleon.

you are right, we are working on a english version, but there are so many pages to translate, so it takes a lot of our time.

What a site!!! Is definelty an asset to the community, keep the good work, and if you need any help with your siite in terms of translation or anything else, we here at the forum will be very happy to help.
 
Thanks so much for the wonderful site Niels! Have you tried that Google translate link? It might help you a lot with the translation. It translates as much as it can but the unique thing w Google translator is that you can correct or "suggest" a better translation for any incorrect words.

yes we know google translation, but we still have to use alot of time on it, as we dont want to loss important words and understanding.
We are also changing the design on the danish site, so they will both look the same and be more smooth in the look.

We are also working on a separate sales site.
in 2009, we will offer a dvd about ch. africanus i Greek, directed by a friend of us (adam) and all the profit will be donated to a preservation project in Greek.

I just made a translation, for fun, with www.tranexp.com, just to see what you english speaking guys have to work with... that was absolutely hilarious... the resulting text made no sense what so ever, The translate.google.com at least have a couple of words right. (but the context... :eek: :confused:)

Sometimes it feels like a waste of energy, when your writing in a language only 4million people understand, of witch only 0,00001% have any herpetological interest

Just to be curious... how does it translate to Italian, Spanish, German, Dutch ect. ? In case anyone feel the urge to check it out, in their native tounge :D

Niels: The film takes place in Greece, it´s not in Greek ;)
 
The site appears to be well thought out and beautifully executed. I do not read your language, but that did not stop me from enjoying the sheer beauty of your site and appreciating what you are both trying to accomplish. No wonder you have both been so busy :).
