What is the best way to keep feeder crickets (1000 count)?
I had a cage made originally and they chewed their way out (first 1000)
Then I was suggested to keep them in a big plastic bin with holes poked in the top. After a couple of weeks with regular feeding, about half of them died.
I was thinking about cutting out most of the plastic lid and putting a screen there for greater circulation.
Does anyone have any suggestions? The crickets aren't too expensive, but shipping is! I don't want to keep buying 1000 crickets to only be able to use a couple hundred! What am I doing wrong?
