Keeping outside?

Hi guys!
So its been a like a years since I sold my ambilobe, and I really miss it.
Thinking to get back into chams but I'm just wondering if I could keep them year round outside in Florida?

I know some people that do but you would have to bring indoors if the temps got really low like in the winter. I would say below 50 at night. During the day in the summer they can survive but you must provide plenty of shade and have a misting system or be home to mist them to cool them down. I have mine out for about 3 hours in the morning. i live in FLA also but have had to bring them in in the winter for sure on some of the cold nights. I usually let them sleep out on my patio. They seem to enjoy it. During the day I do not leave outside all day, but that is me. I usually take them out about 8 am til about 11 am then indoors til about 3:00 and then for the rest of the day I leave them out until dusk pretty much and bring them inside my patio to sleep for the night.

I live in Tampa (moved here from MA about a year ago) and I've been pretty happy with keeping chams outside here for most of the year. I keep them in a screened-in porch that gets indirect sun from about 3 to 7pm (filtered sunlight throughout the day) and it has worked well. I bought all of them in to my garage starting around November last winter once the temps started to drop below 50 at night. They stayed in the garage (with lighting of course) until about February once it warmed up again. I know people say that it gets too hot for Jackson's out here but mine have done great. Panthers, veileds, pretty much anything other than a true montane species should do fine.
