Keeping Plants Alive?

Do I need a grow light, or will the reptisun 5.0 be enough lighting?

Also, do I need to add anything to the soil to help keep the plant alive, such as miracle grow?

If you can cycle plants it would be beneficial to them.

No miracle grow, hence the reason organic soil is suggested.

I have a General Electric 6500k 48" "Daylight 32" for the plants, it makes a HUGE difference for plants. Lowes sells the bulb in a 2 pack, and has the dual fixture at a low price, so you can have your 5.0 in one side, plant bulb in the other.

The 5.0 bulb should be fine. I have no problem with my plants. If it looks like its dying give it some Co2. That will bring it back to life until you figure out a good lighting system.

I have a 48" dual shop light with a 6500 bulb in it and my reptisun 5.0 blulb. My plants have done great I have only lost one plant and that was my jasmin =[
