My 1 year-1 month old veild hasent eaten normally for a couple of months..
Only got him to eat superworms, waxworms, and about 20 crickets total..
What I thought was, since he was across from my birds, he stressed, so I moved him into a quiet room, and I think he's alot better. Coloration has brightened up and he's eating a few crickets a day .
Question is , how many oz is he supposed to weigh? I only have a oz weigher..
Thanks for any info.

try feeding him every other day. see if the appetite goes to normal. also try changing your uvb bulb if it's been awhile.

I wish I could help but I have a gravid female, 10 months. 148 grams. But not a good comparison, sorry :(

my male at a year old weighed 141 grams. this was weighed at a vet visit and I was told this was in the realm of normal.

Okay, I'll post a picture when I get home, he weighs 6.5 oz which converts to about 184 grams.
It confuses me though , I thought he would be less?
Thanks yall.

Heres a few, he's dark because his mister just came on btw..

Adults don't eat every day usually. You said he was above a year? That's relatively normal in my opinion.

What is he eating? How many crickets, etc a week??
He's an adult now and should be full grown so he only has to maintain his weight not increase it as a rule.

I agree with @kinyonga. Honestly what do you think is normally? You didn't describe his eating pattern very well for us to understand. So if you could go into a bit more detail I would appreciate it just so we could help you two out more ^^ I don't want you to worry for nothing but I don't want him to have something serious wrong with him either
