Kings cage make over

So my first chameleon and even tho I did some research before hand I had to setup rather quickly to be able to get him. So it wasnt exactly what I wanted. I wanted to do all live plants but couldn't find cham safe ones around me. So I ordered some fake ones and had some fake bamboo that looked nice but wasn't really functional. So for a couple days I would go to home depot, lowes, shoprite, and then finally went to Wal-Mart where I hit the Jack pot.

First cage setup with all fake every thing. Light setup was combo dome with 100watt day blue bulb and a reptisun 5.0 cfl bulb and a reptisun 5.0 light strip

So leaving walmart with my goodies 2 plants umbrella plant, golden pothos, 3 new pots do they all match, pesticide sprayer that will be used for water misting with reptisafe, earthgro organic soil, and some 6500k day light cfl bulbs.

All plants where potted with the organic soil and then topped off with south black aquarium rocks that I had taken out of my turtle/fish tank a while ago. That way he won't compacted by the soil by accident

Here goes the dracenia(spelling? )plant

I brought everything inside and switched out the 5.0 cfl bulb in the combo dome to a 6500k 100watt cfl bulb for the plants and swapped back to the original 60 watt day blue bulb to bring down my basking temp. With the 100 watt day bulb it was showing the basking spot at about 80°-87° which I was told on her is to high for a baby cham. Now basking temp is between 73°-79°. And I decided to move fake plants to the outside sides of the cage cause it was blocking all the light from the real plants. But he seems to like them on outside cause he goes to the sides more and hangs out behind them.

Once everything was changed around he seems to be a lot more comfortable. And had changed to didn't colors that we never saw before. And I even seen him eat a cricket finally and actually seen him drink. This is him right after eating the cricket. All nice and happy light green color.

And a couple more pics of him. I know they say they get deal colored when they are mad but I think here he is just doing it cause of the dark color of the vine

So what do y'all think? Is the top vine to open? Hopefully the umbrella tree will grow in quick enough to code that soon. Comments concerns criticism all welcomed

The top is a little exposed but you could just sit it on a smallish plant pot turned upside down to higher it up a bit until it grows and then take the plant pot away when its grown a bit :) but looking good.
