i saw this too. I emailed them the other day. it sounds like a great deal if the are a good breeder to deal with

I purchased 2 of these babies...One Ambanja and one Ambilobe. Originally I was going to buy a Morph from a well known breeder here in the forum and I was also talking to some other folks selling chams. I still plan on buying a morph from that breeder just to get the crazy array of color. However, my fiancee saw this ad and as we had 2 unused setups for babies he offered to foot the total bill of $258 which included shipping if I would give these little guys a shot!, at this great price. With that offer I felt like I had nothing to lose so I ordered them!

We received the babies is perfect condition. They were expertly packaged and both these little guys came nicely crawling out at there arrival time of 10:00am.

I did not feed them that day, but waited till the next day. Each got 8 pinhead crickets for breakfast that morning. Both immediately gobbled almost all of them up and within a few hours all were gone out of both cages. They are healthy and active as chameleons can be. They are about 4 inches long and both are starting to show some nice color especially for babies. One of my babies is one of the ones pictured in their ad, the one with a lot of red!. Both appear to have a lot of color starting.:D

I am eagerly looking forward to seeing how these little guys turn out!:eek:...lol

I would say at this point if you feel comfortable raising chams at this age that I would definitely give Nick at Precision a shot. He was great to deal with. Very personable and professional. A pleasure to deal with...

Sambava Female arrived tuesday

My female Sambava arrived Tuesday, and she was healthy. Everything I would expect for an excellent price. Nick was professional and had great communication through the transaction. That being said, she was young; however, I was never under any illusion that for 99 bucks I was getting a larger animal. I will keep everyone posted as to her growth.

Justin Carl got two sambavas from Nick. One looks like a sambava I guess and the other doesn't have a complete ubar.

You could ask him. He seems pleased with his purchase.
 
If you had to buy a sambava at least as a baby nico, go through gesang. im not sure how many if any she has left from ratanbe. But i am very pleased with my purchase. and he was definatly worth what i payed.
 
i would love to but my female is related to her line. Im waiting to find a wc male. Im just curious to see what a sambava male from nicks breeders looks like, thats all no need for anyone to get defensive

How do you look up the different coplaints? bio what does that mean I have seen that posted before?

no offense to anyone or this forum but it would seem that you have to watch every little thing you say if you happen to say somthing even as an obvious joke you will be greeted buy threats to be thrown out of here for good ! i like everyone on this forum there are a lot of expert and beginers that are all willing to share valuable info i just wish we could speak a little more freely about products and breeders and not have to run to other forums
 
im not really worried about what i say, i think my opinion is obvious enough, and honestly i am not worried about sparring feelings.

well nico, i do believe gesang should have some babies from degas BUT not sure if that helps you at all. i think she said something about the mother being from the loki line.

Fauna Classifieds is a forum, sort of like Kingsnake.com... The BOI is a forum within Fauna Classifieds. It means Board of Inquiry, and basically is a place where people can either post good or bad things about deals they've had while making reptile-related transactions. To a degree, it is somewhat of a clan over there, where they'll circle the wagons to protect their own, but it is a good research tool if you're trying to buy something from someone you've never worked with. You just search for their name or their company name and it will typically pull up a few different threads about most companies or people in the reptile world unless they're newer and don't have posts yet. Many of the threads (good or bad) about individuals tend to turn hostile, mostly for a lack of the whole story, and an enthusiasm by the same 20 main members having nothing better to do during the day than to bash someone.
 
Thanks I appreciate it. I am sure this helps. I raised parrots for years. I had 170 prs of large parrots, macaws and cockatoos. In the parrot business as like other business, a deal might go bad. A DEAL. But if a breeder keeps having bad deals. There is a problem. Like my deceased mother always said when we were kids. Boys you have one last name. Respect it and keep it clean. It is going to follow you for the rest of your life.

4 ft 11 and mean as a snake and she had to be with us four boys. Put I loved every day with her.
