Thanks everyone, glad you all enjoyed the pics.

Peter - I use a Canon 100mm macro lens. Congrats on the mating. Thats a nice looking pair.

DGray - As a number of people have indicated, these animals are very quick when it comes to feeding and seem to have a lot of personality. This pair of mine are very huffy and will gape at me but interestingly they are not aggressive, just not really afraid. They get all bothered when I open their cage and then immediately switch gears when they see the flies or silkworms, etc., I just put in their cage. They're just fun and their morphology is very attractive as well.

As others have said, I really think if more people worked with some of these guys, they would understand why some of us like them so much. They're just so much more interesting in their behavior and looks then Ch. calyptratus or F. pardalis in my opinion. They also can be quite hardy if you get healthy specimens and care for them well.

Here are a couple more pics of the male:

Completely agree Chris. I'm just trying not to become a K-snob!:D

It's like a secret hole-in-the-wall restaurant you find...except you don't mind showing people because you think it's so great. That's kinyongia for me.

@ CNorton: Yes, they ARE delicious too.

@ Peter: "Browner" is at least 3 years old. He's not gonna get any greener. He is just yellow, brown, and white but by no means dull (even though the photo does no justice). I wonder if his color is going to be passed on to offspring? Some are due this month.

some new shots

I figured I'd tack these new photos on here cause that's the way this thread is going.

I now have 7 different bloodlines of CB Kinyongia multituberculata.

Holy crap Luis! That's gotta make you like the GRANDADDY of all multi's!! With 7 bloodlines, you pretty much have made the "Fischer's Chameleon" market for the US. Well done man, very well done!:D

Eh, 8-16 is the range with a perfect dozen being pretty typical. OH for the last 3 clutches I have tracked the order/pattern that the eggs hatch in their tubs inside the MR-148 incubator. There seems to be a pattern. More on that soon.
