Krunch

So I know I have posted alot about Krunch, but I wanted to SHOW ya'll his progress!
I know he still looks a little thin, but im working on that. He is eating and walking about so much better
One photo has the big bad hunter with a mouthful of a dragon fly he just caught.
I am pleased with his progress. His calcium shots are down to once a week. I have added small doses of Reptaid, thinking it might help
thank you as always for your support,
Anne

thank you! i was looking at him today and thought the same thing :)
Ive noticed (and maybe Im just wacky!) that all my chams have different looks
Krash; serious but always wants to be out with me
Krunch; easy going, looks content and smiling
Kruiser; little grumpy, but willing
Komet; guess I have to wait and see!

Im trying!, he didnt eat for a week, then it was one silk a day for 3 weeks, then up to 4 silks and butters, last week he finally at a crix. not at all interested in the phoenix, tried the horns, but it was too soon. waiting on another order

He is just beautiful! I love the second pic.. such a love bug face!

I haven't decided if pics make it easier or harder to wait for the eggs Sela left me..

Glad to hear he is doing better. It's amazing how much care you have put into him. Glad his life will turn out for the best.

Haha! In almost 16 weeks cooking, I've only candled once and I force myself not to look more than every couple weeks ..mostly just to do any adjustments on moisture.

It kind of helps that I have the Pyg girls and I have a house full of other critters, but I am seriously jones'n for some wee baby Be's :D

He look really healthy actually, not too thin. Maybe he tried to tell you something with the dragonfly. I read that in the wild flies are the bulk of the diet but contain too much protein for captivity. Since protein is what he needs right now just catch a bunch of blue bottles and watch his appetite return.......
Daves advice is not scientifically tested or guaranteed except to say he definitely will go nuts for some flies :D

Good advice David! Thank you
Ataraxia, thank you for the compliment, all I have to be told is I can't and I dig my heels in just to prove them I can!
Not always sure that's a good thing :)

KRUNCH started a full shed 2 days ago!!
In my mind thats a really good sign, he's growing, which means he is getting healthier?
he is taking 2 days to do it, so he might not be 100%, but he is on the road to recovery!!
I caught(with my hands no less!, because I look positively STUPID with my sons butterfly net, running around the yard!) a white butterfly this morning, put it in Krunchs cage and he just blasted it!!!
I will try again and see if I can get a pic

I've just not seen many butterflies at all this year, and I've been on the lookout.......nice work with little Krunch though.....

the last time one of my chams snatched a dragonfly, he became a picky bugger for the next 3 months! They love dragonflies!
Awesome nosy b!

I nearly caught a dragonfly last week - I'll bear that in mind because my male just got over a picky week. Treat time for the girl if I get the next one - she's always good about her crickets!

Hi Anne, krunch looks great. :) what a beautiful job you are doing with him. And go on girl and grab that net! Who cares what the neighbors think:D

Wow he does look good.

He is a handsome little bugger :)

Looks like he is doing very well.

Cheers.
Todd:)
