Largest panther chameleon?

I was wondering what are the largest types of panther chameleons? Ambanja, ambilobe, nosy faly, nosy be....?

Some people say Sambavas but they are all pretty much the same size. There really is no one panther that stands out as being the largest. The Sambava I have weighs 266 grams at present. That is considered a large panther.

Sambavas are considered a larger locale (though I dont know about any actual evidence,) but that doesnt mean that they are all large or that other locales cant be big or have individuals that are big. If you want a big panther, you might want to buy an adult that is full grown, or a baby from a line that is pretty big. Of course, even if the parents are giants, it doesnt mean the babies will end up being big. Also, keep in mind that an animal might be fat (or a female could be gravid,) so the weight could be a false indicator of the size.

My input is they are pretty all capable of being the biggest. The reason some are bigger and smaller is because some have been inbreed in America with not many lines so the birth weight seems to shrink. So for example nosy be true blues are a fairly diverse line but still the lines cross a lotand they are not raised out doors and free ranged.
. Also the reason cb are smaller is because in the wild typically survival of the fittest plays a part and it would seem bigger and faster growing would be a better trait. So the weak typically survive in captivity to where they would die in the wild. So rarer locales that come in such as tamatave are often wild caught and therefore seem to be a bigger locale when in reality they have just grown up in the wild and are the strongest and biggest from their.clutches.

I find WC to be the largest and as they seem to get that little bit smaller the more cb down the line. The largest panther I've seen was bentons WC masoala male they weighted around 300 grams

wow! now that is BIG!!!

I've heard of a panther that weighted around 400g, but I don't know what local and if he was overweighted.
