Lat. Lat. Carpet Cham

wow yeah! I've heard it can take a while..I followed the guide lines from a cham book that I have, a steady temp at 74 they would hatch out in 7 months..!? But who knows..there so many different ways to incubate..so I know the ranges can vary..

I think Mike @ FLChams said some of the Carpets he had took 13 months to hatch?

Aw that's a bummer :( And quite a long incubation period. I've had an infertile panther egg go 11 months before getting moldy, lol. It always made me wonder if it was fertile, so when it collapsed, I cut it open, and there was just yellow goo inside, lol. Now I've got several panther eggs that finally started developing veins at 5 months, so hopefully I'll have some luck with those. And good luck on your last carpet egg :)

so about a year and a half later..no luck with my carpet eggs..my last one is now molding over :( What A Bummer...Any reason as to why these guys were unable to hatch?? I had them at a steady temp of 72...

It's possible it was a change in humidity levels? That happened to some of my carpet eggs a while back.

Hmm..that could be..I moved last sept..to the beach from inland..the temp difference is way different..but they stayed at a steady 72..maybe it was the humidity, it is more humid by the beach, and not at all inland..
