Laurie's baby arived

Hi everyone,

Well a few of us lucky members have already gotten our little ones.
There might be a delay with one package, but I was lucky to get mine at 10:30 this morning.

My baby quad boy is so cute.
He ate a cricket from my fingers and a super off the side of his cage already.
He also drank when I misted him.

He has no fear of me and has no problem walking on my hands if I point my finger at him.
He shows no real signs of stress, and seems quite happy to explore his cage.
His colors are so deep and cool looking.

I will say I was surprised at how small he is.
I was aware of his size before I got him, but in person you will be shocked that they are smaller then a 6 week old panther (he's 3 months old).

Sadly I have no internet besides my blackberry at this time...so no photos.
I'm sending Laurie one of my mem cards so she can post photos of this baby and my other quads shortly...ok, it might take a week. Sorry.

A big thanks to Laurie who worked so hard in caring for all the tiny little ones.
She did a great job and is truly the "queen of quads" in my book.

I feel so blessed right now.

Oh, no name as of yet. I'll work on that.

Is that 1 package mine? My package still isn't here. I have called them 2 times now and they said they are sending out an electronic message to the center. Once they find out more details they are going to call me back in 1 hr.

EDIT: They just called and my package is in Kentucky and not with a driver and it will not make it until tomorrow!

I got my quad pair from Laurie this morning about 9:30!!!! I let them get a little nap in but my lights just came on so I will post pics soon!

I'm not sure if it will work on a blackberry ( I use my droid for internet ) but there's a website Photobucket.com and if you make an account you can upload pictures from your computer and phone then you can post them right to this site with the html code. At first i didnt think I could upload from my phone but theyll actually give you an email address where you can email your photos to your account (which they will pop up in the mobile upload folder on your site). I'm not sure if you're interested in using the site but I thought I'd help. Good luck and I can't wait to see the little boy !!

Yes Tom, we are worried about your little boy.
2 packages to Ohio, and yours seems to have gotten left behind.
I'm so sorry to hear when this happens...it's why you don't ship on thursday for FRI delivery.
I will say the baby was well fed and watered before shipping and your baby is in a tub with a wet paper towel that should still be moist when you get it.
When you get him tomorrow mist as often as you can on the first day and don't be shy with the feeders.

After all, I'm the one who put in a good word for you with Laurie and I feel sick that he's not with you today.

Sadly flicker or photobucket charges you for uploads from a cell phone.
But I would pay for a pic or two if the camera on my phone was worth the effort.
Sadly they are not much bigger then a dime STV so you need a camera with a macro setting or a good SLR and a 90mm macro lens.

I'm leaving now to go mail the mem card to Laurie so you guys can see photos asap.
OMG he is so cute...I got baby #9 if you want to look up what I got.

Well for the first time UPS doesn't know why the baby did not get to Tom. They said it will be there tomorrow. I packed the baby so he should be fine but both Tom & i are stressed.

Harry has check in, Dustin have checking in, nothing from Kevin but UPD has delivered. I am so happy they are there. can't wait to hear what Dustin & Kevin think of the babies!!

I worry everytime I ship a chameleon and this is why. we need everyone to cross fingers & toes for the little guy.
