New baby boy Nosy be

After my girlie veiled Etosha died, I have now gotten a little boy panther from Panther Company. He is still shy and I haven’t seen him eat much but he is pooping regularly and wandering his plants. Any panther hints versus veiled appreciated. I have basking at 85 and increased humidity to 55. I haven’t had a baby one for 6 years. So cute.

Congratulations, he’s so cute!!! 🥰😍🥰 And his dad and granddad are stunners!

At his current age, you’ll want the basking temp to be closer to 80*F for now, and you can increase it as he grows
The only other thing is that the vines in his cage aren’t safe, moss vines can cause foot issues and impactions and Exo Terra vines have loose debris that can get caught in chams’ eyes. Just replace those with Fluker’s fake vines, real vines, and/or branches, and you’ll be good! If you want to fill out the husbandry form, we can double check everything else if you want, as well!

I’m so excited for you, babies are just precious!

Thank you. I am concerned about humidity at night. It is ranging 50-60 during the day. Do you fog at night and what is the process if do.

Your daytime humidity is great! Do you mist at/after lights off and/or during the night at all? If so, when and for how long? What are your nighttime temps and humidity levels currently?

My night is around 63%. I mist night and morning. Night temps in 60s. Thank you!

No problem, we’re all here to help each other out! If your temps are in the mid to low 60s, you can use a cool mist humidifier and/or short spurts of misting throughout the night to raise the humidity even higher (80-100%)! How long are you misting for?
Also, I’d love to see more pics of your little man (he’s so freaking adorable)! Spam us with them 🤣

I have been working with my breeder and he is eating. Also will be starting my fogger tomorrow night. I appreciate all the help. Have not changed out branches as will be too upsetting but things are improving. He is growing!
