I have a female veiled chameleon and I was wondering how to setup a lay bin for her. And I was also wondering how often she will lay. All help will be appreciated!

This has a video with it. https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/laying-bin-set-up-educational-video.77225/

Laying totally is dependent on your feeding amounts and temps you keep.

Females should never be kept warmer then 79-80 at basking. 10 months and older they should be getting either 3-4 feeders 3 times a week or 3 small feeders every other day. Nothing more then that. Temps and amount of food directly corresponds with egg productions. Females that have been over fed and or kept at too hot of temps end up with very large clutches. If you are giving a reduced amount as stated with the correct temps she should lay once a year and it would be a small clutch which is much easier on her body.

Please note your supplementation needs to be on point as well since their bodies need calcium for egg production.

Sorry it’s been a while, but here she is!
