what do you say is best i always thot a dirt and sand mixture but lately ive seen what looks like pure sand please help first lay bin and my older female looks as if she is going to need one soon as when i purchased her i was told she was only 2 months old by now she should be 5 months

sand is quite difficult to find here right now as we have 2' of snow so i was considering using a dirt and vermiculite mix like we use for our beardies but iam thinking it may be too tough for a little cham to dig in

You can buy it bagged at a store like Home Depot.

ill have to go take a look tomorrow after iam done work iam trying the dirt like in that video for now after feeling her belly i think shes just a little chubby for some reason and likes to roam i didnt feel any eggs but we will see

Yes home depot will still have a few bags left. Its normally kept outside and towards the back walls. It will be frozen, what I do is buy it then let it sit next to the fire place to thaw. Depending on how wet the bag is towels come in handy. But we have a fire going all the time.

ive gotten pool filter sand in the winter and it was a solid block i filled the tub with hot water and put it in there for a few hours lol
