I have the female veiled and I do have a laybin ready to set up for her. She has never laid eggs before, and she is about one and a half years old. I thought that to be odd, but she is a little small for her age and, granted, I bought her from a chain store. I have no reason to believe she is pregnant (if she were, it would be infertile) but I do want to be ready if she ever does need lay eggs. Many people tell me to put a laybin in the bottom of her cage, but nothing will fit! My cage is too full of foliage and twigs, and I want to make sure whatever she lays her eggs in is big enough. I put a small bin of sand in there for a little while to see if she noticed it (it was about 4 inches deep, I just wanted to see if she would try digging) and she didn't even care. I have a bigger bin prepared, I just wanted to know what other female veiled chameleon owners have done in the past. I am in need of some laybin inspiration!
