The title should really be "OMGEEE!"
I missed the thread that mentioned how heavy sand is... and wet sand is even HEAVIER omgeeeee!!!! I'm almost too tired to type haha
I redid Ophelia's enclosure today following some feedback on another post. I have not changed to the tube UVB light yet, but I will. I added more horizontal vines, plants (pothos and birds nest fern... i bought a bromeliad but it was too large for the enclosure) vines (but I think I will add more) to give her as much cover as possible. I put a piece of plastic on the back side to cut down on spray. The Monsoon is on a timer for 5 mins intervals.
I added a laying bin. It is 12" deep (but only filled up about 10"), 11x8 (roughly), filled with wet play sand. A branch is in one corner to help her go in and out.
I'm sure it needs further tweaking... what else do I need to do? Thanks for your feedback, it is much appreciated
