Should I be worried that she still hasn’t eatenLeave her alone, she will eat when she is ready.
Tomorrow evening, is she at least up off the nest yet?Should I be worried that she still hasn’t eaten
Yes she’s out of her nestTomorrow evening, is she at least up off the nest yet?
So she laid her eggs on Monday and she still hasn’t eaten anything, I even got some hornworms today and still nothing, she’s drinking just not eatingTomorrow evening, is she at least up off the nest yet?
I too her to the vet the day before she laid her eggs (Sunday) because It’s been a while since she used her tongue, the vet told me that it was because she was getting too cold at night and I needed a black light. I have one now but there hasn’t been any progressTime for a vet visit.
In the mean time try to get her to gape at you and when she does stick a bug in her mouth.
It looks like she just defecated, the white part is almost like mesh and the tan part is real soft as well. It looks more like a blob than anythingTime for a vet visit.

Don’t use a black light. If it gets below 60*F (I think), use a ceramic heat emitter. I don’t think being too cold relates to tongue function.I too her to the vet the day before she laid her eggs (Sunday) because It’s been a while since she used her tongue, the vet told me that it was because she was getting too cold at night and I needed a black light. Did you mean to say black light or was that a typo?I too her to the vet the day before she laid her eggs (Sunday) because It’s been a while since she used her tongue, the vet told me that it was because she was getting too cold at night and I needed a black light. No that’s what my vet said, so I bought one from the pet storeDid you mean to say black light or was that a typo?
What I bought was a night heat lamp 75 w made by exo terraDid you mean to say black light or was that a typo?
Chams need complete darkness. If it gets below a certain temp (the care sheets here have minimum overnight temp), then get and use a ceramic heat emitterWhat I bought was a night heat lamp 75 w made by exo terra
Well I’m on my way to the vet now, I think she might be sick but I don’t know for sureChams need complete darkness. If it gets below a certain temp (the care sheets here have minimum overnight temp), then get and use a ceramic heat emitter
Good luck!Well I’m on my way to the vet now, I think she might be sick but I don’t know for sure
He told me it was normal for her eating to be unusual around the time she lays eggs, but he said I need to force feed her to get some calories in herGood luck!
I'll let @jannb or @Brodybreaux25 answer thatHe told me it was normal for her eating to be unusual around the time she lays eggs, but he said I need to force feed her to get some calories in her
How exactly do I get her to gape at me?Yes it’s time. But instead of going straight to the syringe I’d like you to try to get her to gape at you and when she does stick a bug in her mouth. If she won’t cooperate with that then we can talk about real force feeding. Let us know
Piss her offHow exactly do I get her to gape at me?
