Awesome setup. I love the PVC stand and the plant arrangement. If I had to offer any suggestions I would say add some horizontal branches (bamboo works well) that are connected to the vine so he has multiple spots to perch. Also, add a branch under his UVB light, the length of the bulb so he can busk and soak up the UVB.

He is going to be one happy chameleon! He is adorable :D

Exactly what he said!
And awe friggin' heck, your lil sucker just makes me want a jacksons even more then I already do now (ALOT).

Could you post a link to how you built that PVC stand? I have been searching for a link for the past half hour, all with failed attempts! It would be greatly appreciated, thanks :D

I agree more horizontal branches and also a more suitable plant for climbing like a ficus or umbrella tree. I would keep an eye on the horn on his nose. It looks like it has had some trauma and might be infected. Good luck with him.

Yes!
Might I also add Aaaawwww, look at his cute little horns.......:D

hehehe... and the lack there of one :(

Great suggestions! I'm somewhat OCD and like things to be alike... thus the resistance towards bamboo. haha. i've been buying a bendy vine once every 2 weeks to add to keep the uniformity LOL. i'm sure i'll cave soon. :p

Also, thanks for the night regarding the UVB light branch! I recently read an article written by a Chameleon researcher (found through someone's link here on the forums) about having the UVB light next to the basking light so that they can bask and soak at the same time!

I designed it myself! After seeing jdog1027's video on youtube. I did do a layout drawing and recorded the process. I'll try to clean up my schematic and send it to you ASAP. VERY EASY and extremely cheap btw! :D

Will do! I read something about, though ficuses are one of the most popular chameleon safe trees, some have experienced their chameleons getting eye infections, so i left the ficus I bought in the living room. Any comments? His front horn got broken off in shipping :( so sad! does it look infected??? we see a little teeny needle looking thing growing so i thought it was okay. i'll post some more closeups later. do you think its vet time? also, is it true it won't grow back?

Thanks all for your time and suggestions! You are the best internet community!

I love the PVC pipe as well, we are wanting to change things up here. Our cham's screened enclosure is on a "desk" that the beardie's tank was sitting, it works but we are thinking of getting another beardie, we really miss ours!!!!!

That would be really awesome of you :)
I'm in the process of changing a few things around and the PVC stand would be so great for branching a free range off of. Pothos vines would wrap around that perfectly.

Thank you thank you! Haven't had a beardie, but I've heard awesome things about them.

he's super cute! love the horns.. more of a question than an opinion: what did you do for drainage? i see the bucket but cant see anything leading to it.

Thank you!

For drainage i followed this member's method: https://www.chameleonforums.com/cage-drainage-system-61692/

I drilled the hole in the middle of the plastic piece that comes with reptibreeze, then took a hairdryer to it to warp it (pressed the middle where it was drilled). Kind of making a funnel. :)
