Leroy is shedding!!!!

Leroy my chameleon started shedding today. He is about two years old. I have only owned him for about two to three months. Is there anything I need to do to help him through this process?

try and keep the humidity up and you can mist him with warm water if he will let you!

When I started taking care of him he hated misting, but he has been becomming more open to the idea of it.

Do you use warm water? I was at first using cold water and then realized it would probably feel alot better to be misted with warm water! I use HOt water out of the tap and it comes out relatively warm from the hand sprayer. Just test it to make sure. Some people have their hot water heater setting higher than others.

just resist the urge to remove any of the loose skin, you can hurt your cham that way.

I think that will be the most difficult part about this. lol I just want to peel all the skin off lol. It seems that he is only shedding in certain areas is that normal?

yes, as they get older they will shed in parts.
