Lets see some pics of you and your NON-HERP hobbies

I am really into cheerleading, (might be the captain of my team at my college) and i also breed beta fish. I like to play tennis, i was 300-600 in ITF (worlds) when i was in high school but since my dad is the coach at my college i just play for fun now.If i could i would deepsea fish all day for the rest of my life but instead i am a chemical engineering and chemistry majors and biochemical engineering minor.

Nice Whiting!!! Is that all you caught?

Just one.
The sargasm was so thick today.
I had a hard time catching fish because I kept getting hung up in it.
I counted 50+ man-o-war washed ashore walking down the beach today.
He was a nice size whiting, you dont see very many like that anymore.
I fish for fun, but most people keep just about anyhting.
Do you fish?

Yes, but not that reguarly. Last time I went saltwater fishing I caught a 24"+ Speckled Trout, and a couple of Ladyfish. And some Whiting, I think a little bigger, but this was maybe a year ago so they aren't that big anymore, like you said.

I have played in a few tournaments, but was never able to put the time required to be a ‘really’ serous part of the team, I play with Bill Alan a really big paintball advocate here in Vegas. I’m good enough to play front with the weekend players and 1 or 2 good people, but when playing a team of people I stick to the back, im 6’1 230 and I can’t exactly sashay around the field like the little guys. One cool thing about the robots is that Cross Fire makes parts for my robots so I use it on my guns when not inside the bot :D

I have a few RC cars and what not that I toy around with from time to time… I go to a lot of big RC shows with the bots as part of displays for places like Airtronics and Thunder Power so I see a lot of races and pick up RC stuff from time to time.

As for movies check these out, they are nice high quality shots. Also, go to youtube and type in Battlebots and tons will come up. Or Search for Wazio88 and you will see a bunch of videos from me. Also, this site has toooooons of good high quality videos. http://www.madoverlord.com/Robots/2007RG.t

Oh, and check out www.buildersdb.com for a listing of events, they are all over the country... The next one that I am going to is in June at San Fran... With luck we ESPN is going to start another show toward the end of the year.

Motocross baby!

Here's my lifetime passion... I raced motocross back between about 1996-2001, been riding since as far back as I can remember. Currently, I still go about 2-3 times a week. I don't have any recent photos, but here's a few:

The blue bike is my old one, this photo was in my parent's backyard I think in 2001. The white bike is the one I got about a year ago after selling off most of my chameleons LOL. The third photo is me and my boy putting together the backyard... I like to play around back there too.

WOW such great hobbies and what a great topic! It's nice to see everyone's interests!

I'm a big aquarium geek and am downsizing now to just a few large tanks of some of the more rare Lake Tang African cichlids. My true passion is horses and rodeoing. I bought a 3 year old untouched horse in summer of 2006 and in late winter/spring of last year I trained her. She put me in the hospital 2 weeks before my first rodeo with a dislocated elbow severely injuries to the stomach/ribs, but I still rodeo'ed and did well. Cowgirl up or get in the truck! She took me to the finals in 7th position, and we won...mine and her first time ever, so I was pretty ecstatic. This year she's learning to team rope and she will be my all around horse as a 5 year old...pretty big accomplishment for such a young horse!

Just a few pics of Tango and I breakaway roping!

(this was a 2.9 second run at the finals...I didn't get a pic of the 2.5 second run)

I have two other main hobbies. One, I write and record songs. Mostly metal, though I have been known to do some blues, reggae, and even a country tune once. I'm a one man band, so no live performances, therefore no pictures. But you can check www.myspace.com/alexfromhell to check out a couple of my songs.

My other hobby is hockey. I play in a couple adult beer leagues here. I started at 29, so my skills really kind of peaked before they got started :D. Here's a pic:

I guess now is a good time to show off one of my helis. I just won this one last weekend at a Huntsville fun fly.

Chad, I ordered a TP 1010 charger and balancer to charge the battery. Have you ever used one? I hear they are great. I didn't get a TP battery since where I ordered stuff from didn't have one the correct size.

I have never got up the guts to try a heli, I figure shortly after take off the thing would then lawn dart into the ground haha… Those two items are great; I charge all my packs with the balancers and use that charger as well at the Triton. You can order TP packs right off the site just in case you did not know…

At least the helis aren't trying to break each other like the robots. :) I really like them because they are always challenging. Sometimes they are a little too challenging, but that is half the fun.

I just got an align pack since it was on the site and people were having good luck with them. Most of my packs are TP and I have been very happy with them.

Here are some Pics from a Dive trip out to Anacapa (Channel Islands), right off the coast from where we live. If you have never tried it, It something I tell everyone they must do before they die... Simply incredible. I learned how dive here off the California Coast in the Channel Islands. We have some of the most beautiful kelp forests in the world. Last time I dove the spot you see in the pics I was swimming with about 15 sea lions that jumped in the water to come play with they saw us go in. None in these pics though unfortunately. Any other divers on the forums?? I know we have a lot of people from Florida... Anyone wanna take me "bug huntin'?":D

My Dad and I after a dive.
