this is so weird and I haven’t seen anyone talk about it.
my girl on two separate occasions has pooped and then later in the day, has seen it hanging off a branch, and licked it once or twice. the first time I immediately cleaned it so she couldn’t get anymore and the second time, my brother pulled a string off her mouth and later she kept looking at it bc a tiny piece was hanging so I immediately cleaned it.
personally, I think because it was hanging, she was thought it was a bug or smth, bc the other half of the actual poop was on a leaf and she didn’t go for it. and other times when it’s just on a leaf she never tries to eat it. I think it’s the hanging that makes her think it’s a bug, considering her main feeder is dubias.
but I was wondering if this was any cause for concern?
