What species of cham do you have? This light does produce both heat and UVB, but it may be too intense and too hot for some species (montane species such as jackson's, as well as juveniles that tend to overheat and dehydrate faster than adults) unless your cage is quite tall. Make sure the cham can get away from the light if it wants to. Watch your cage humidity levels too, as more light intensity can dry the cage out faster.
