Lighting and watering?

I have been reading the site and I am wondering if what I am doing is okay or if I should change something. I water my chameleon at least 4 times a day and hold it to the side of the cage to see if she wants to drink. I then hold there for however long she drinks. I leave her lamp on always and sometimes adjust where it is.

When you say you leave the lamp on always, does this mean 24hours light? As chameleons need darkness at night.

So with the 4 times a day(guessing spraying), you are also providing water from the side of the cage also?

(If spraying)Does she drink then also?

what kind of chameleon do you have? this will help us help you more as each species needs slightly different care.

with any kind of chameleon they need 12 lights on and 12 hours lights of to sleep and digest. they need both a basking light and a UVB light. more information on UVB and basking lighting can be found here, https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/lighting/

I dont see her drink accept when i let the water flow next to her for a while and then she starts to drink

please turn the light it off at night.

And you probably do not need heat at night... if the room does not go below 67 - 68-ish.
