But I agree with @Peachypink Todd will have no problem giving you the best advice since lighting is his specialty, shoot him an email on his site, he's very quick to respond and very helpful.

awsome i ordered that 48" from light your reptile. the one that includes the uvb bulb 2 day time bulbs and a plant bulb. so i will try and run my setup like yours as you seem to have success with itMy quad is setup like this. If your facing the cage the first bulb is daybulb, plant bulb, daybulb uvb so my uvb is the last bulb and my quad sits in the front of the cage so my uvb is pretty much directed strait down the middle of the cage. It all depends on where you place your basking branch I have it set up to where my basking is back right corner and my uvb runs across that branch as well with a slight pitch leading away from the basking spot. Many people have the uvb and basking overlap as I do but always give options to you Cham!
oh and it has a build in timer so that was a for sure buy for me lol. that fixture looks to be amazingawsome i ordered that 48" from light your reptile. the one that includes the uvb bulb 2 day time bulbs and a plant bulb. so i will try and run my setup like yours as you seem to have success with it
I actually just received my quad about 2 days ago and yes it's awesome, I've been doing this build on this cage for about 1 week I put my plants in it the day I received my quad and even though the plants have only been in there for a few days with a 12/12 light cycle they are thriving more and more each day....you will be very satisfied with the product I garentee it. I believe it has a dusk dawn setting also to represent morning sunrise and sunset for a more realistic feel for your Cham, it also has blue leds but I'm not using them as of now. Lol my Cham isn't even in the cage yet still a couple more tweeks to get everything perfect. Word of advice take your time on your new project i made the mistake of rushing my last one and wasn't happy!oh and it has a build in timer so that was a for sure buy for me lol. that fixture looks to be amazing
yes i will for sure be taking my time and getting everything on this cage perfect before i move my girl in and before i put a new baby male in. i have been researching draining system a lot and interior design. i haven't decided what type of draining system im going to put in it yet nor have i decided how im going to do the inside of them. I was thinking like that dragon strand design where they use that foam to get everything in to place after they zip tied the branches and pot plants to there ledges and i like that but someone brought to my attention the 3 sides made of a rock like substance that looks really good too and can't decide what i want to do. but i have mistaking already so i ordered some new nozzles and tubbing so i can run it across both cages and i now have the lighting figured out as well.I actually just received my quad about 2 days ago and yes it's awesome, I've been doing this build on this cage for about 1 week I put my plants in it the day I received my quad and even though the plants have only been in there for a few days with a 12/12 light cycle they are thriving more and more each day....you will be very satisfied with the product I garentee it. I use the "moonlight" LEDs for 1/2 hour after all lights go off. Gives him time to adjust and make sure he's in his sleepy spot. After the 1/2 it goes off and it's night night.
for drainage on my cages I have just a drainage tray and use a bucket head to suck up the water at the end of the day. Most water will evaporate but the excess gets sucked up with the bucket head...yes i will for sure be taking my time and getting everything on this cage perfect before i move my girl in and before i put a new baby male in. i have been researching draining system a lot and interior design. i haven't decided what type of draining system im going to put in it yet nor have i decided how im going to do the inside of them. whats a bucket head? i was thinking of some slants lined with pond liner so it just drains into a bucketfor drainage on my cages I have just a drainage tray and use a bucket head to suck up the water at the end of the day. It's pretty much a shop vac that screws onto a bucket, I just suck up the water in my drainage tray at the end of the day and dump the bucket out, I feel it's easier than making a plumbing drainage system plus if u have multiple cages you can easily go from one to the other and get all the water out within a couple minutes. I got the idea from Bill strand on his site he talks about it in the advanced setup.whats a bucket head? i was thinking of some slants lined with pond liner so it just drains into a bucket
Okay I'll look into itI would suggest building or buyin a drainage tray for your cages saves the effort of having to do plumbing just for simple drainage.
