Lil Louie Update

Fiona's Mom

Chameleon Enthusiast
Lil Louie has been doing very well. I usually weigh him on Saturdays but I have given him some crickets that were a little bigger one wax worm (candy:rolleyes:) and lots of baby mantis and BSFL and I wanted to see what he weighed. Last Sat he weighed 8gr and today he is 11gr. My baby is growing up. This morning two of his BSFL had morphed into flies so he had fun with those and this afternoon he got 4 more. He is such a little cutie...and yes I took some pictures today so you can see I'm not exaggerating.:ROFLMAO: He will be 3 months old on the 22nd.

It's so cool that we have such a family tree here with Luie and Camille's kids, and grandkids, and great-grandkids, and great-great-grandkids. I'm honored to have Sunny, who is one of the great-grands. I try to explain this to non-chameleon people, but they just don't seem to get it.

I know what you mean. I am a 64 year old lady who even though people think Lil Louie is cute...they don't understand the attachment. Then there is the "BUG" thing. Even my husband gets creeped out about them. Yes...I did have roaches at 1st...but since discoids can't fly or climb smooth totes...I don't have to worry about infestations. Louie is a little young for them right now but I am starting a colony. I am proud to be one of the owners of Jannb's babies and heritage.
